For TBCB's latest entry in the Boxing With Billy C fight predictions contest, we've simmed the fights listed below 100 times each. Steve Cunningham vs Amir Mansour: Mansour with simmed results 74-20-6 (33) emerged as the USBA beltholder. Half of Cunningham's 20 wins came by stoppage despite his scoring only 6 knockdowns. Mansour, in contrast, floored Cunningham 75 times for 33 stoppage wins.
Curtis Stevens vs Tureano Johnson: Johnson was able to withstand the power of Stevens and win 78 of the matches. Surprisingly he came out with 45 stoppage wins of his own.
Julian Rivera vs Joebert Alvarez: A razor thin margin of three bouts separated these two fighters. Rivera came out on top with 47 victories. All 12 of his stoppage wins vame via TKO. Curiously 12 of Alvarez's stoppage wins were also TKOs. Both fighters demonstrated that they had good beards and a proneness to cuts. Alvarez managed more knockdowns with a 33 to 6 edge. Otherwise there isn't a lot to distinguish these two guys.
Randy Caballero vs Kohei Oba: Oba walked away with 84 wins and a mere 13 losses. 54 of his 66 decision wins were unanimous. This dominance continued with 18 stoppages compared to 5 by Caballero.
Marco Antonio Rubio vs Domenico Spada: The one-sided matches continued. Rubio notched 50 more wins than Spada's 23. 33 of Rubio's wins came indside the distance. Rubio showed a marked edge in power with 107 knockdowns compared to 24. 9 of Spada's 23 wins came via stoppage. He has a slim puncher's chance.
Mike Lee vs Peter Lewison: Mike Lee came out on top by nearly a two to one margin (57-30). Each fighter stopped his opponent seven times. Lee scored three more knockdowns with 28. With the power factor even the judges favored Lee's work awarding him 50 decisions.
Juergen Braehmer vs Enzo Maccarinelli: Braehmer dominately defended his crown in his homeland gather 93 wins. Maccarinelli could only manage 6. Only 17 of Braehmer's wins went to the judges. Maccarinelli tasted the canvas 161 times and was stopped in over three quarters of the simmed bouts (76).
Carl Frampton vs Hugo Fidel Cazares: Cazares rolled to 89 wins. Frampton could only notch 7 wins, 5 by stoppage. 50 of Cazares 57 decision wins were unanimous. He emerged as yet another dominant winner.
Giovanni Segura vs Felipe Salguero: Segura dominated Salguero. He scored and amazing 95 wins, all but one by knockout. All four of Salguero's wins were inside the distance. The bouts all averaged less than six rounds. Doesn't look like the judges will be needed in this one.
Johnreil Casimero vs Maurico Fuentes: Bout was simmed last week and appears the report of the fightsvappears there. Here is therecap. Fuentes was overwhelmed by Casimero who won 80.00% of the matches. 25 of these were inside the distance. 51 0f his 55 decisions were unanimous. 12 of Fuentes 16 victories were stops giving him a puncher's chance. 3/27
